Madison Middle School

MADISON MIDDLE BAND

     The Madison Middle School band program is made up of students in grades 6th, 7th and 8th.  They are under the direction of Mr. Gene Mills.   Band meets each day by grade as a class.  6th grade band is a beginning band class where students pick an instrument and begin to learn the basics of playing an instrument.  The 6th grade band usually performs during the spring concert each year.   7th and 8th grade band gives several performances each year.  The two classes combine to perform the yearly Christmas Concert, Spring Ratings, Spring Concert and the County Music Festival.
