PAULETTE COOPER

Ms. Cooper graduated from Sharples High School in 1989 and then went on to attend Marshall University where she studied Communication Disorders. Ms. Cooper graduated with a BA in Communication Disorders in 1997 and went straight into graduate school to get her Masters in Communication Disorders. Ms. Cooper obtained her MA in May of 1999. Boone County Schools hired Ms. Cooper as an itinerant Speech-Language Pathologist in November 1999 and has since remained based at the Middle School but does travel to other schools providing speech and language services for preschool-eighth grade students. She has been Nationally Certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association since 2000 and also has WV state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, as well as a Masters plus 30. Ms. Cooper enjoys spending time with her family especially her 3 beautiful daughters, Savanna (16), and twins, Faith and Hope (8). In her rare free time, Ms. Cooper likes to read, scrapbook, exercise, and play with her Yorkie, Emmie Sue. She is also actively involved in whatever her three girls are doing at the time. Ms. Cooper has been at MMS for almost twelve years and has enjoyed every student and co-worker with whom she has worked.
