EVA ELLIS
Mrs. Eva Ellis is a 1973 graduate of Logan High School. She attended Southern WV Community & Technical College and received her AS in 1976 in Science-Medical Laboratory Technology. She worked in the lab at Logan Regional Hospital and Guyan Valley Hospital for five years. She later attended WV State University and graduated in 1989 with a BS in Education with specializing in secondary science 5-12. She also recieved her masters in Science Education from Marshall University in 1989. She became a National Board Certified teacher in Adolescent Science in 2006.
Mrs. Ellis has been teaching in Boone County Schools since 1988 where she began teaching at Scott High School. She came to Madison Middle School in 1992 and is where she remains today. She is a member of the WV Education Association, WV Science Teachers Association and the National Science Teachers Association.
Mrs. Ellis' husband's name is Jimmie and they have two daughters, Natalie and Kelly. They also have two granddaughters, Emily and Ella. Her hobbies include motorcycling, reading, traveling and spending time with her granddaughters, Emily and Ella.
