BRIAN WITHROW
Mr. Brian Withrow is a 1998 graduate of Nitro High School. After high school he attended attended Potomac State College of WVU where he received an Associate Degree in General Studies in 2000. He then earned his BA in Education from Fairmont State University in 2004 and went on to receive a Masters in Professional Education from Fairmont State University in 2009. Mr. Withrow has training in Classroom Assessment, Balanced Assessment, GLOBE, County Teaching, Trout in the Classroom and holds a Principal Certification.
Mr. Withrow taught at Sherman Jr. High School for four years before coming to Madison Middle School in 2008. He is active in coaching, GEAR UP Site Coordinator, Classroom Assessment Network, Trout in the Classroom, National Geographic Alliance and a member of Trout Unlimited.
Mr. Withrow's hobbies include hunting, fishing, folg, outdoors, watching and coaching baseball. He enjoys spending time in Pocahontas County, WV and Oak Island, NC. He is married to Autumn and they have a son, Andrew. They reside in St. Albans and have pet fish. His favorite quote he credits Doug Little, Head Baseball Coach at Potomac State College of WVU with, "To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, and to be late is to be forgotten".
